LVHN ExpressCARE–Macungie is a medical facility that provides care for a variety of common injuries and illnesses. They treat sprains, joint injuries, lacerations, burns, colds, flu, sore throats, earaches, urinary infections, bronchitis, pneumonia, asthma attacks, allergic reactions, and eye infections. The clinic also offers symptomatic COVID-19 testing and flu shots. Patients have praised the staff for their excellent care and friendliness, particularly when dealing with young children. They have highlighted the team's ability to make potentially stressful situations, such as needing stitches, go smoothly.
From the moment I got here the attention and speed of check in was awesome, thanks Kim. The nurses were just great thank you Chris, Lyndsey, and the rest. My Dr Simpson was so thorough and attentive, you could sense his desire to help me. Which he did. Thank you Dr Simpson. The whole process was seamless and went by quickly.
Went here for a physical. Smaller scale office, friendly staff, comfortable environment vs larger practices and hospitals. Not all hustle bustle, wait time wasn't long. I used their online check in, sped up the process. I was able to do a walk in, rather than a long waited for appointment. Prefer going here over St. Lukes. More personable and overall better patient experience.
Was told to come here for a cat scan. Was on a Sunday and we were told to come back in a hour, so we did. Place was sorta empty and not many around. Was put in a room where a guy who made me very nervous came in and didn't explain anything to me, just pretty much grabbed my arm for blood work, using the bed to lay everything down and dropped something on the floor. Hooked me up to fluids and I told him I'm not dehydrated. They then wheeled me in for a cat scan. Place looked really empty. Doctor briefly came in and told me l had a muscle spasm and prescribed muscle relaxers and pain meds but l told him I lift heavy at work and he only signed a doctor's excuse for...read full review
