We had discussed adding on to the house for years. We love our neighborhood and moving just sounded crazzy so we decided to add on a 2 story addition.We added a master bedroom with bath as well as a basement space & also had an existing interior wall removed.We are so glad we did it- and very thankful we had Paul Chernega (Chernega Construction, LLC) as our contractor along with his team. Paul and the Chernega Crew are great people. Transparently I ended up not moving forward with the project, but it that had nothing to do with Paul’s team. The quote process did take some time, but that’s somewhat par for the course these days as finding good contractors are hard to come by. He always answered the phone and was willing to talk.His thoroughness, detailed plans and recommendations for how to do things the correct way, along with meticulous attention to detail was impressive and appreciated. If I have another large construction project in the greater Pitt area, I’ll be sure to give him a call. You’ll be in good hands.
