Chernega Construction is the best contracting company my wife and I have ever worked with. Paul and his crew were phenomenal from day 1. We had a very sizable project that needed completed on our house that was completely demoed on the inside. Paul and his crew would start at 7am most days and if I had to guess I would say they worked 10 hours per day on average. They would also work on Saturdays and Sundays on a regular basis and did whatever it took to complete our project on time. I think what stood out with Paul was his communication skills. He would be with us on a regular basis and always was willing to work around our schedule even if it meant meeting in the evening or several times I met with him at 6:45am. Paul was also quick to respond to texts or phone calls which is not a common trait these days. One other aspect I would like to touch on would be his fairness. He was very fair priced and any time we wanted to add anything to the job description he was more that fair and accomodating. Paul also surrounds himself with subcontractors that have the same work ethic and communication skills he has. I couldn't say enough great things about his electrician Denny and also his Plasterer Mike Merola. Eric Showers did our HVAC project and he was also awesome. Thanks to JT his assistant also. Paul also added very valuable input anytime we were getting frustrated with what to do with certain designs or layouts regarding the project. He really was instrumental in guiding us on what to do and what not to do and for that we are very grateful. I would like to just say thank you to all of Pauls workers too and I apologize if I forget anyone but thanks Jason, Will, Kurt, Dave, Dave, Doc, Frank, Ron, Caleb, and Tommy the excavator and Kurt the painter.
