My wife and I are so pleased and proud to see the comments on our new home. We both retired in October 2017 and began our search for the perfect retirement home. We wanted to remain close to our two sons (Westminister and Columbia, MD), my sister (Hanover, PA), my niece (Westminister, MD), and my wife's family (Frederick County, MD). After thinking about Charlottesville, VA, we began looking in the Gettysburg area. My wife found lots available for sale in Simme Valley, New Oxford, PA. We visited the community and found what we were looking for, a lot with a stream/large creek. Finding a build site was relatively easy. We anticipated that finding a builder who could turn our dreams into reality, produce a quality built home at an affordable price, and be someone we could trust, would be much more difficult and that proved to be the case until we found Todd and Woodhaven Homes. Speaking for myself, I was immediately comfortable with Todd, which doesn't often happen to me, especially when dealing with home builders, real estate agents, or car salesmen. That was the beginning of our journey. Todd demonstrated everything we were looking for in a builder: a person we believed we could trust from the outset, a builder with integrity, attention to detail in every phase of construction, and a patient man that was able to work with my wife in designing our home. No easy task! He reminded us of the builder we had add an addition to our MD home. Besides Todd, we met and loved the various contractors on our house. These men were craftsmen, not simply construction workers. All took great pride in their work from the concrete guys to the framers, the roofer (one guy did our entire roof!), the siding guys, electricians, plumbers, flooring, tiling, and on. We got to know many of the men on a first name basis. We visited our home site every Friday and always thanked everyone for their fine work. As the build progressed, we became friends with Holly, Todd's office manager and customer relations expert, his son and daughter, Ben and Emma. They turned what can be a stressful project into a rewarding adventure. I have never written a testimonial before, but I wanted to make an exception here. If your are searching for a builder, my advice would be to find an area where Todd builds. A Woodhaven-built home will change your life! It has changed ours.

We absolutely love our home. We customized the woodland model and moved in two weeks ago. The perfect place to start our lives together and eventually grow a family! Thank you so much Todd & Holly for all your hard work and help. The process was challenging due to all the covid shut downs but you guys made it enjoyable and easy for us! We couldn’t be more in love with our home and neighborhood 💗 We’ve even had family members with contracting/architectural backgrounds walk through our house and comment on the exceptional quality and fine detail in every inch of the build. We would 100% recommend Woodhaven to anyone building in the area!

Their team is so great and professional ....the personal attention that they give is amazing and the knowledge that they share with you is so helpful. It was our first time building a home so their expertise was so appreciated and helpful. We searched for the right builder, interviewed many builders...and none compared to Woodhaven Homes!
