What I didn’t prepare for was the tears releasing my pent up emotions after everything I’ve endured this past year. All she said was “this is tight” when she was massaging my scalp and that’s all I needed to hear to know how much my body internalized the anxiety.

Though this was the first and only time we met, I felt seen and cared for. Oh, and she also took care of my hips and leg pain I’ve sustained from running injuries.

The ambiance was calming, she gave clear and consensual directions. My body needed this, and it’s thanks to Sierra that my physical body feels recharged! What I wish she didn’t have to tell me was that it was time to wake up! But oh well, such is life.“
