I was able to connect with Andrew and have him come out to mount a new TV on the wall over the summer of 2023. Contrary to other reviews, he did offer to come out and do the work over the weekend. He did a great job with the wall mounting. While he was here, I asked him to take a look at my back porch steps. He took some measurements and then texted me later with an estimate. I was ok with the estimate, told him there was no rush on the work ... never heard from him again. He was nice and personable - I liked talking to him. I guess maybe he didn't need the work. Still need the steps done and now have some other small projects that I gotta find someone else to take... read full review

I had used Andrew a few times. He's a nice guy personality wise but when he comes to the buck that is everything to him. He scheduled me for a job - he picked the time - and two days before I called to reconfirm our appointment ( he didnt call me) and he had the nerve to tell me he had a "big job" that had taken precedence over me. I was shocked. So much for him being a man of his word. So much for the little guy. He also likes to be paid in cash. Last time he was here he " fixed" my sink only to have it drain slow after he hooked up the plumbing. He then told me " I needed to call a plumber" to get it to drain properly. This guy complained because we had the audacity to text him on a weekend and was adamant that people in his line of work do not take calls on a Saturday. Really? A handyman who doesn't take a call on a weekend. Not true Mercer, plenty respond to a call or text on a Saturday.Once he arrived at our home he proceeded to gush about how beautiful he thinks his wife is and wanted to share photos - a guy who charges by the hour. The two issues right there should have tipped us off that his work was subpar.Once was enough. Find another handyman.
