If I could give zero stars I would. We had been with Warwick Run Animal Clinic for well over 30 years. The practice changed when Dr. Baron retired and sold it. Dr. Baron treated our pets with love and care. This group of doctors has no idea about compassion. Today we had our precious 17 year old cat euthanized. He was removed from our arms and taken back to get an IV. During that time all we could hear were his helpless cries. Then they came in with my cat who crawled right into my arms. They then brought in a credit card reader for payment. When the doctor came in to us finally, I was furious with the horrible treatment my cat got. He told me that it was protocol. Dr Baron never did it this way. And I was told my cat bit the technician. Okay? Then maybe you should have asked us or left the cat with us to put in an IV. The tech got what she deserved in my opinion. And I was told that I might be contacted about the bite. Seriously? This is a horrible animal clinic. Now my last memories of my cat are of his cries for us to help him. I will tell everyone I know never to darken their door.
My rating is ZERO stars. If you want to disrespect your pets, please bring them here. If your pet is at end of life, Dr. O'Neill will recommend "get thee to a hospital", where the pet can die (after $4,000 in expenses). Under Dr. Baron and Dr. Monica, they told you the reality, and we could have saved her from the stress of going to the hospital with knowing no one there. She was out of her element, and undoubtedly missed her owners (as we terribly missed her). Live and learn. To Dr. O'Neill, this is a business. Make what you can, when you can. I'm still crying over what my pet had to go through after Dr. O'Neill raised up his hands and said "get her to the hospital". He told me that he would call me on Saturday, because that's "the guy that he is." I'm still waiting for the phone call (on Tuesday, 3 days later)... I cannot recommend Warwick Run Animal Clinic. If you love your pet, please look elsewhere. PLEASE.
We have gone to warwick run for 25 years and all 3 of our dogs received wonderful care from Dr. Baron and Dr Daniel. We had nothing but positive experiences there for 25 years. This practice recently took over new ownership since Dr Baron retired. We have had poor experiences ever since. Decreased office hours, delays in getting lab testing done (things like urinalysis are now send outs which used to be done on site-our beagle has had frequent UTIs and bladder stones that required surgery -urine dropped off on a Thursday-resulted on a Tuesday ) , difficulty getting a hold of the practice Via phone etc. the last visit we had with our one dog they did not do a thorough examination and did not check his ears despite having a significant history of frequent ear infections and symptoms at times of the visit. We allowed some time after new ownership took over but the final straw was after Dr Daniel left. That spoke volumes to us after feeling like the new "process " was rushed , not thorough and felt less personal and like our fur babies were just a means to a financial gain. It no longer felt like the right place to stay. So sadly after 25 years we have switched care to another local practice and just had an extremely positive experience there. Years ago I did and would have highly recommend this vet practice. Unfortunately I no longer can.
