“Fantastic hair cut, and fantastic service. I've already scheduled my next appointment, and expect to be going back as a regular thing. I do quite a bit of public speaking and presenting to clients, so I am particular about how my hair looks. I decided to give Salon Jalore in Landenberg, PA a try because they are pretty close to my home. I called to confirm their hours, and because they were short-handed, the person on the phone was intentional about making sure I made an appointment, and assured me I could do walk-in in the future. It so happened that on Tuesday's, they offer a special deal on men's haircuts. When I walked in, the ambiance was calm and upscale. I was immediately greeted, and offered a drink. That's what I call an un-expected quality service moment. I was over 15 minutes early for my appointed time, but I didn't have to wait much more than around 8 minutes. The only stylist on duty that evening, Kara, was friendly and pleasant in a sincere sort of way. The most important part about a haircut, of course, is the haircut. Kara asked what I wanted, and then proceeded to execute as I requested. Without me having to point out to her, she noticed a couple spots where I have cowlicks, and made sure to trim appropriately so it would look even (no one ever seems to notice without prompting). She paid attention, was detailed in her work, and did not rush. I got the cut, and shampoo, for a couple bucks more than what I would have paid at a big-chain cuttery, but I got an upscale service.“

“After going to many different salons throughout northeast, rising sun and Elkton, trying to find a place I really liked, I found Stephen’s! This place is awesome, they get my hair done quickly yet carefully every time, never ridicule me for what I want nor try to talk me out of it, as some places I’ve been to before did. In fact everyone there is so so friendly, and the place itself is so homey and cozy. Every time I go in for an appointment they not only cut my hair but style it as well and give me tips on how to style it myself (which is much needed as Ive never known how lol) I’ve got relatively short-ish layered hair and bangs, so I need haircuts somewhat often, and at Stephen’s I’m able to plan my next appointment right after getting my hair freshly done. Even before I was a returning customer, though, they had gotten me in so soon despite me just calling in. I absolutely love this place, and I now know I won’t be looking for a new haircut place anytime soon :)“
