We used Eagle Lawn Care for 4 years and as time went on our grass got worse. We brought it to Calvin’s (the owner) attention a few times to come out and look at what was going on and it took him awhile to address it. During the dry spell last summer he came out for a regular treatment and shortly after that a huge part of our yard turned completely brown and died. After multiple calls to Calvin he finally came to look at the issue and he did admit the grass was dead and most likely from how dry it was and the treatment he did was why it died. They refuse to notify me as required under the law and the pa hypersensitivity list.. They are spraying highly toxic chemicals which are known to have long lasting health effects and even cause heart damage. This company dont care about your health. Be smart and ask for the msds sheets before they come to your house. Their employee was even drinking from an icee type cup while he was spraying chemicals when in reality he is supposed to be wearing long sleeve shirts and chemical resistant gloves. To top it off, the stuff they sprayed killed the grass and it is all brown.
For the first 3 years our lawn was beautiful. Since then it has steadily declined for the last 2years. Weeds, nutsedge and burnt out patches throughout my lawn. After the most recent visit by their representative that told me he doesn’t know why my lawn looks so bad, and that it wasn’t his fault and that I should pay them to have my lawn over seeded I terminated the service. Why should I pay even more to a company that had no idea what happened to my lawn to try to fix it. Along with the fact that he fertilized some areas of new sod that shouldn’t have been fertilized, he apologized and said “ that he hopes it doesn’t kill the sod”.
