Lebanon VA Medical Center Emergency Room

Monday I took my husband to UMPC emergency room .. after 11 hours of waiting to never being seen we left… the next day I drove a little over an hour to VA emergency room .. he was seen & treated we got 3 prescriptions filled & we went home .. the total trip from door to door was 5 hours ..I will NEVER go to UMPC emergency room again… the staff @ the VA were wonderful & caring …I great experience compared to UMPC !

Thank you.PA Melissa Pietras, Phil Cotroneo LPN, and Dr. Sabbagh treated me with the upmost respect, dignity, and understanding. My first experience at this ER was top tier. I was heard, listened to, and understood. These staff members gave me the best patient care ever in an ER setting. I have been to a few VAs in Pennsylvania and I have to say that this VA is the most picturesque. It is a beautiful campus with intertwining buildings that allow for a smooth transition between departments.I appreciate how they kept the integrity of the buildings outside but continue to remodel the inside to keep up with standards and changing practices.As the other reviews state, the staff here are great. They are pleasant and professional and kind of go out of their way to help you when needed. When I attempted to navigate the halls on my own and got lost, there was no hesitation when I asked for directions.There appears to be ample parking around all the buildings.... read full review
