I came to NP Auto upon recommendation from LIP Body Shop in North Wales. The work from NP Auto is not only excellent but also complete, quick and reasonably priced. The guys are professional and knowledgeable. They also do extra things like lubricate an annoying and loud driver's side door creak and compound out a black mark on the entire length of the passenger side just because they care for your car. No charge! They excel in care of all makes and models! Thank you NP Auto!!
North Penn Gulf is now North Penn Marathon on Valley Forge Road and Sumneytown Pike. John is still the owner and by far this continues to be the VERY BEST AUTO SERVICE center in Montgomery County. John and his team perform at an exemplary level. I scheduled a WAIT appointment which they can schedule. My car was serviced promptly at 8:00AM and I was back on the road before 9:00AM. You will not experience greater service than North Penn Marathon. Forget the auto dealerships and oil change locations. North Penn Marathon can perform all services with ASE Certified mechanics saving you time and money.
This is going to be a tentative change going from 5-3 stars based on the wonders that is 2020. 5 star so please read carefully. This place is for buying gas. I have had less happy experiences with mechanics over the years. OK you're saying gas is gas, take out of pump -put in car-drive away. Simple. BUT in this day and age when it seems like stations raise the price at the drop of a hat then take a LONG time to lower it, This place doesn't. They raise prices slowly and lower them with the market so when they DO put prices up you don't feel like you're getting screwed. This is really important these days. The place is well located and has good hours late in the evening and early in the morning. So why did I scale it down? masks. in 2020 with the amount of, traffic, they get there is a real risk of exposure here but in the work bays, talking to customers and behind the price register? I can count on the fingers of 1 hand the number of times I've seen a mask being worn. I don't know if this is a political statement or a lack of care but in 2020 it is at best unnerving.
