I am a 69 yo retired medical professional. I have a complicated degenerative back problem that causes pain in my legs and numbness in my feet. I suffered with severe nerve pain from a bout of shingles three years ago. My PCP only offered up Gabapentin, saying it “the pain could last forever”. The pain worsened to a daily level of 9. I couldn’t sleep, my blood pressure was going up and I was miserable.I went to a physiatrist who immediately suggested Lyrica. I did not want to mask the problem, I wanted it fixed. He suggested an epidural, but I just didn’t have a good gut feeling about it. I went to Dr. Jane last year for an injured shoulder which she fixed in 4 visits. Dr.Liu is very knowledgeable and experienced in acupuncture treatment.I have long time pain for knee and lower back @ 5 years her treatment helps me lot to deal with pain ,I feel improved life and confident mind due to treatment.
