It was not the worst experience, but I honestly was not very impressed. The front desk was very sweet and nice, but Dr. Liu was not very personable. I’m not sure if I was there on a bad day or something because there are so many other good reviews. She did seem very knowledgeable and I’m sure she’s a great acupuncturist. There just was not much communication and she was not very friendly. I expected a little more for being the first time I went to acupuncture. There was not much done on her part in checking in if I was doing ok. Dr. Liu is a true expert. I started seeing her while trying to get pregnant after experiencing an ectopic pregnancy. I had also been on the birth control pill for several years prior to that. Dr. Liu focused on balancing my hormones and in my first cycle of seeing her, I got pregnant. I continued seeing her throughout my first trimester to ensure the pregnancy would stick and to help with symptoms. I highly recommend Dr. Liu to anyone looking to start acupuncture.

I went to Dr. Liu for tendinitis in my shoulder, as well as ocular migraines. The pain had started to interfere with my daily life. Someone mentioned trying acupuncture, and I am so thrilled I did. After a few session with Dr. Liu, my pain has decreased significantly, and I have had only one migraine episode that was minor. I am truly pleased with my decision to go to Dr. Liu.
