I cannot explain how happy I was to find Dr.chiu I had been jerks around by other eye doctors and was almost unable to see when I finally came in. Within six weeks of my first visit I had both of my cataracts done and have 20/20 vision I cannot explain what that means to my life they were very professional and very caring
The doctors are great. HOWEVER, check your Medicare statement against any statements they send you. I was billed for two separate dates of service after my medicare statement said that I may NOT be billed more than they paid. Additionally, I was quoted the price of $1,000 for an astigmatism lens while having cataract surgery. Once at the surgical tee, I was charged an additional $500 before they would do the surgery.***Follow up: After I contacted Center for Advanced Eye Care about being billed after Medicare said I shouldn’t be, they immediately refunded the money I was erroneously billed for. The entire staff of Buck's County Eye Associates could not have treated me any better. They were friendly, efficient and really knew their jobs. Doctor Pendse did my eyes with corrective lenses and I could not be any happier!! No need for glasses anymore. He did the surgery at Tri County Surgery Center and the staff there was also excellent! Thank you all!
