“Fantastic hair cut, and fantastic service. I've already scheduled my next appointment, and expect to be going back as a regular thing. I do quite a bit of public speaking and presenting to clients, so I am particular about how my hair looks. I decided to give Salon Jalore in Landenberg, PA a try because they are pretty close to my home. I called to confirm their hours, and because they were short-handed, the person on the phone was intentional about making sure I made an appointment, and assured me I could do walk-in in the future. It so happened that on Tuesday's, they offer a special deal on men's haircuts. When I walked in, the ambiance was calm and upscale. I was immediately greeted, and offered a drink. That's what I call an un-expected quality service moment. I was over 15 minutes early for my appointed time, but I didn't have to wait much more than around 8 minutes. The only stylist on duty that evening, Kara, was friendly and pleasant in a sincere sort of way. The most important part about a haircut, of course, is the haircut. Kara asked what I wanted, and then proceeded to execute as I requested. Without me having to point out to her, she noticed a couple spots where I have cowlicks, and made sure to trim appropriately so it would look even (no one ever seems to notice without prompting). She paid attention, was detailed in her work, and did not rush. I got the cut, and shampoo, for a couple bucks more than what I would have paid at a big-chain cuttery, but I got an upscale service.“

She was able to create a variety of really pretty hair designs that were sturdy enough to outlast hours of running around an outdoor venue and wild dance moves (the third photo in the review was AFTER dancing!). Abbey and her assistant, Jess, also arrived ready to start at our designated time and helped us stay on schedule in the morning during the craziness of getting ready which was much appreciated!
