We've used Tomlinson Bomberger several years in the past when the Spotted Lantern Fly (SLF) infestation hit our area (about 4 miles north of HeRshey off of Rt. 39) pretty hard. This year, as soon as we saw SLF nymphs jumping on the west wall of our house in the afternoon sun, we called TomBom again.
J.J. Osgood, the same very pleasant, very knowledgeable, licensed tree specialist showed up in his TomBom service truck about a week later and did a systemic trunk bark spray on our sugar maple trees and our trees of heaven (an SLF favorite). Huge thank you to Greg and his team—and Curt W—for an outstanding job in trimming down our massive tree. They did it the right way, with safety and long-term tree health in mind.
They approached everything with real care and professionalism, making sure the surrounding area, our home, and nearby plants were all protected. What really stood out was how thoughtful they were about the condition of the remaining trees—making cuts that will actually help everything continue to grow and bloom in the best possible way.
