I have taken months to write this review because I wanted to be sure that I was established with another dermatologist and would have no reason to return to Dr. McGillis.

I was a patient at Dermatology Physicians under Dr. Groleau. She biopsied an area of my forehead and it turned out to be a basal cell carcinoma. I was referred to Dr. McGillis for Mohs surgery.

I had the procedure completed in the fall. Dr. McGillis was very direct and professional. She didn't have the best bedside manner, but I wasn't overly bothered by it figuring not all doctors are "warm and fuzzy". The procedure went well, I healed fine and the scar was barely noticeable.

Dr. McGillis is deeply knowledgeable, caring, a great listener, and efficient. I was highly impressed with her. Few physicians in my experience are as capable as she is. She saw me almost immediately; but had she kept me waiting for hours while ministering to others- it would have been worth waiting for the best.

I was referred by my regular Dermatogist to have Dr. McGillis do a wide excision to remove a melanoma on my back. I found the front desk a bit frazzled, but the nursing staff and Dr. McGillis were polite and professional. I would recommend Dr. McGillis.
