I’ve been taking lessons with Jason for almost 9 years now, and as an aspiring music performance major I’m am extremely thankful for his lessons. He always has something new planned for each lesson, but if you need help with anything in particular (auditions, pieces, styles, etc…) he is fully prepared to help with that instead. Jason is very creative with his lessons, working everything he teaches into grooves, fills, and songs, which is helpful practice with applying what he’s taught us. I am very lucky to have a teacher that encourages creativity.

Jason is great! I’ve been working with him for almost a year now. He’s not only patient and understanding, but he also knows how to customize lessons based on your needs. I came in with absolutely zero drumming experience, and within a matter of months I was able to play comfortably with our worship team at church. You won’t regret the investment!

Before starting with Jason, I had never sat behind a set. I absolutely love lessons with him. He is personable and also professional. He curtails lessons to meet my level, needs, skill (and ebs and flows with the amount of practice I put in).If I want a challenge, he teaches me a new technique or style (ask him to show you some Latin grooves). I really appreciate his style of teaching where I have a base of skills to play a whole variety of different styles and songs.Whether a newbie or a seasoned player, Jason is the instructor to see.
