I have been taking my pups to them for over 15 years. My current crew consists of five rescues, three seniors and two younger guys. The seniors each have medical issues that need cared for on a regular basis. The vet and the staff are amazing and have pulled more than one from the brink of death. Dr. Purvis has a vast knowledge of health care and is willing to work with me to keep them healthy. I enjoy adopting seniors and they generally come with medical challenges. My dog Bella wouldn’t have made it past this weekend if it wasn’t for Hempfield Animal Hospital. Bella was diagnosed with Pyometra Saturday night after being rushed to Pets Emergency. They wanted $6-7000 up front for the surgery she needed. After feeling hopeless and not getting any calls from any place Pets Emergency suggested, Hempfield Animal Hospital came to the rescue. I called Monday afternoon after being referred by a former employee and they got Bella in first thing Tuesday morning at a reasonable price, they understood that Bella was family and not just a dollar sign. We had to put our 14 year old cat down. The staff was very compassionate and guided us through the process. They were all very caring and we appreciated their thoughtfulness. We highly recommend them.
