Whispering Rise Farm Animal Sanctuary, our potbelly pig sanctuary, has used the New Bolton Center a number of times for surgeries. The entire staff is engaging and professional and dedicated to the care of animals.
My horse was injured in a freak accident. They were fabulous in looking after her and keeping me updated with daily calls. My only disappointment was that I was not permitted to visit due to the Covid rules they still had in place.
They did a great job diagnosing my horse. They noticed that he had a neurological issue my home vet missed. Everyone was nice and caring, and helped me to come to the right decision regarding him. Only taking one star off because their feeding practices are a bit questionable. I packed my horse a hay bale and week's worth of feed, but they wouldn't accept the bale and only took 2 bags of feed. I wanted to mix my hay in with theirs to prevent colic, and my feed had all his supplements mixed in. But overall I would use them again.
