“We are forever grateful for the loving care of our beloved sister. For 2 1/2 years, Amy’s home was Gum Pl and the staff became part of her/our family. She was happy and enjoyed the loving care and companionship provided.Through her decline and passing, so much support was given to Amy and our family. Her final decline was beyond difficult. Her caregivers went above and beyond for Amy and my sister and I.In her final days, we were there countless hours, several times we were encouraged to go home for some rest. They assured us and were at Amys bedside through the night, for many days. Amy left this world in the middle of the night when we were not there. Our comfort was in the incredible young woman/staff who held her hand and sang to her as she joined the angels.We will never forget our second family!!!“

I got to work with Gabi, and not only is she incredibly knowledgeable (I saw immediate results after just one session with her!!) and professional, she is so understanding and empathetic. This may be lengthy, but it’s worth the read when it comes to the importance of improving your mind and body, so I hope it helps:Perusing Phoenix’s countless positive remarks, I decided to give them a try, despite there being other establishments with slightly closer proximities. This wasn’t my first PT rodeo, and previous experiences had been less than favorable. The main reason being that I felt lost among the abundance of fellow rehabbers with the same time slot as me, and clinicians barely remembered my name let alone my purpose or goals. They’ve always felt like a factory. Not at Phoenix!Upon arrival on day 1, I was met with enthusiasm and a hands-on approach. Nick was thorough in his initial evaluation, asking thoughtful questions and sought to discover the root cause(s) of my rehab needs. I mentioned my disappointments with previous rehab centers and he assured me that Phoenix’s M.O. was to limit the amount of patients per time slot to achieve a more personalized experience. I was skeptical, but figured it was worth a shot.He wasn’t kidding! During my approximately 2.5 months working with both Nick and Richelle, their approaches were professional, knowledgeable, adaptive, enthusiastic, positive, and perceptive. They collaborated in my plan and were always up to speed with where I was in the process. They shifted my routine a few times as more insights were gleaned from my performance/responsiveness to treatment. It was also a way to avoid feeling like I was stuck in a boring cycle or they were just going through the same trite motions they would with anyone. It was data-driven and perceptive for the better. Everything was explained in an easily digestible way (for those like me who want to know the “why” instead of just the “do it because”.)I should also mention that their internal goal is to get rid of you…in the best possible way! They’re not trying to keep you lingering around collecting your money or spending your time. The idea is to build up your own knowledge and comfortability to establish a future home program when the time is right. The exit strategy is key because it allows you to set and maintain goals. I never felt pressured to do something that was uncomfortable. It felt more like an unofficial challenge to be better and to get better - and they were my biggest “fans.”As the weeks flew by (pun intended), my improvements were noticeable, unlike with other places. I was gaining confidence and the idea I was getting BETTER was a previously foreign feeling. It never felt cookie-cutter and I also observed different techniques for varying clientele, catering to various personalities and abilities in the best possible way. “If you are looking for a physical therapist look no further. They have later hours if needed. I was able to go on Wednesday nights at 7pm which worked out great. Worked with Kevin and Kelly also a few interns. Everyone was five stars.“

“Highly recommend Dr Scott !!!We were recommended physical therapy by our pediatrician for our sons toriticollis. Dr Scott performed an initial evaluation and was incredibly helpful and supportive throughout treatment. During each session she was extremely patient and receptive to our child’s mood to continue exercises. Dr Scott provided coaching and guidance to work on weekly stretches, which was helpful as we progressed and saw improvement with his mobility. He is now taking off and no longer frustrated! She is the best!!“

“I’ve come to Lavanga a number of times but only for massages. I first got a package for them on Groupon. They’ve stopped using Groupon now but offer their own packages.Danielle has been great. She focuses on any areas you let her know of beforehand and tailors the massage accordingly.The only minor downside is that scheduling is a bit hard on the weekends so you end up having to book it a month or more in advance.“
