We were married at Stoltzfus Homestead and Gardens on November 11, 2023, and I organized Darla's for my mother's hair and makeup. We had no bridal party. But during the process of planning the wedding, my mother was diagnosed with cancer and lost her hair. I let Darla's know ahead of time of the change and what was going on and they were so thoughtful and kind. The day of having hair and makeup, it honestly felt like I was just getting ready with my friends. They were so laid back and calm, which I needed around me since I was so anxious. We had such a great experience with Darla's! I had wanted a very simple and laid back style for my wedding day (it seems the hair style I wanted is popular right now) and Jessica and Sierra were SO accommodating with myself, my mom, sister and my husband's mother and sisters. Everyone felt incredibly comfortable and I am just so appreciative. Jessica took so much time to help make me feel incredibly comfortable and confident before getting married and worked with me and the different flower pins our florist provided to help me bring what I wanted to life. I had a wedding at Stoltzfus Homestead in April and chose Darla's for my bridesmaids/my own hair and make-up. They have an upper level to accommodate a large group. They supplied the most amazing breakfast and coffee/juices. There was nice space for us to relax as we waited to get our hair and make-up done. The entire staff is amazing at what they do and really go above and beyond for their clients. I could not imagine spending my wedding morning any other way. Hair and make-up even held up throughout the entire day despite torrential rain ? Thank you so much to everyone at Darla's. Would recommend to anyone who wants a stress-free wedding morning!
