“My mom has been patronizing New Image for years and years, and I had my first opportunity to stop in recently. This salon is a small location in a small strip of businesses. It can be easy to drive by it as the entrance is a little hidden. The salon has a number of specialty gift type items like jewelry and accessories, in addition to several walls of hair care and beauty products. There is a small children's play area and the clientele seemed to vary in age. My mom is elderly and definitely a hair challenge. However in about an hour or so her long time stylist, Penny, had her hair colored cut and styed and a bit of waxing. It all looked fabulous! The cost however, was half what I pay for a similar service in a higher end salon. I think Penny has the skill to command higher prices, but it may be the customer base does not allow for that. I can also attest that the cut and style my mom receives is well maintained until the next visit. I imagine this is the case for others receiving their hair care services here.“

“Love how Heather listens to what I say, but she will sometimes suggest a hair cut or color after she hears me. When she gets to know someone and what they like is when she may make suggestions. She has been cutting my hair, and coloring it for almost. A few months ago she told me about a hair style she saw on TV and thought was pretty, and she knows that I like to be original and just a smidge on the wild side. I told her I would like to try it, and I love it. She is very personable and thorough.“

“We had such a great experience with Darla's! I had wanted a very simple and laid back style for my wedding day (it seems the hair style I wanted is popular right now) and Jessica and Sierra were SO accommodating with myself, my mom, sister and my husband's mother and sisters. Everyone felt incredibly comfortable and I am just so appreciative. Jessica took so much time to help make me feel incredibly comfortable and confident before getting married and worked with me and the different flower pins our florist provided to help me bring what I wanted to life. My mom called Darla and asked to speak to her personally (I believe) because she was so thrilled with how our experience had been and my mother is someone who always expects the most from vendors, especially on her daughter's wedding day.
