Alex and Max are absolutely fantastic to work with and I highly recommend them for any size project. Not only is the quality of their work and attention to detail extremely high, the care they put into everything and integrity they have are really unique and things I've rarely found in the many other contractors we've previously worked with. Design decisions are really thoughtful, even the work you're probably not going to see behind the walls is going to be clean and futureproof. We have a 120 year old home with a ton of character and complications, and last summer had Alex and Max completely renovate our kitchen and new family room. It was a really big project with a lot of structural and design decisions, and I was just really, really impressed by the work they did, the creativity in some of the issues our house presented, their friendliness, and the way they managed the project. Always upbeat, they seem to really enjoy the work and craftsmanship, great way of presenting design recommendations without being pushy too. I'm very nitpicky (and probably difficult to work with!) and the Varners really nailed the vision we had while helping us evolve it through the project. Thanks guys! The kitchen and family room are beautiful and our favorite rooms in the house. We can't wait to have you back for the window work and master bedroom/bath project.
