“The care is excellent, the doctors and staff responsive. My best little Buddy ever became ill in August 2023 with an enlarged heart which eventually led to his passing on Christmas Eve morning of congestive heart failure. Although I thought I had prepared myself it was extremely difficult to experience. I was advised that eventually he would cap out with what could be done. The doctors and staff worked closely with me and any time I would call they responded immediately. It is now the end of February 2024, and something has troubled me that from August to December they heard from Buddy and I quite frequently. Since Buddy passed away it's been as if he was forgotten and there were no sentiments or condolences offered for a pet and his devoted owner who suddenly disappeared from receiving care. No one wonders where we've been? It has been quite sad, and as a pet dad I am lost without him. But I do appreciate everything they did, sometimes a bit more matter of factly and what seemed to be unsympathetically than I was able/willing to hear. Grief is a very tough thing to handle. He was not just a dog, he was part of the family and treated as such. I do not expect anything from this review other than the recognition that our pets are important to us and their longevity and outcomes being minimized is a very sensitive matter.“

“I couldn’t be happier with our experience here! I have a 9 year old Shih Tzu and Dr. Mansfield was so thorough in going over her medical history and things to look out for in the future. The staff were kind and incredibly prompt which I appreciate so much, and the space was clean which I imagine is hard to keep up with at a vet clinic. Due to moving around a bit, my dog has been to three different vets in the Pittsburgh area and while they’ve all provided great care, I was most impressed by the care, staff, and provider at Lawrenceville Vet Clinic.“

“I can't say enough about the doctors and the techs here. They are always kind with my anxious pup. They get back to you quickly with any questions or appointment needs. The doctors take the time with my pup and that is what matters most.

“About a month ago the friendly feral cat I take care of wound up with a broken, abcessed tooth. I was having a hard time finding anyone who could take him within a week as the ER vet recommended.
I tried Family Vet Care and they saw him immediately and had his dental surgery scheduled four days after the initial appointment.
The staff was all knowledgeable and friendly. They treated Cow amazingly!
He made a full recovery and is eating like a champ.“

“Absolutely LOVE this place and the staff here! Dr. Breneman and her team have been so great with my two pups! We recently moved to the area and I was doing a ton of reviewing before choosing a place for my fur babies to go. They only allow one patient/family in at one time, so there is no stressing of worrying about other dogs. Her team is SOOOO amazing with the pups. Everyone comes out to love on your dog, regardless if they will be assisting or not! t’s super clean, small, and quick. I highly recommend this place!!“

The doctor and nurses were absolutely supportive and kind!! They even provided us with 2 cast paw prints with his name on them for my children to have! “Had a vet appointment today at riverside veterinary clinic today. First the receptionist was very accommodating with setting up and also rescheduled because I had to cancel my first appointment. When I arrived today they were very helpful and helped me with carrying my cat into the examining room which is difficult for me because I am on oxygen. Dr Mirro was very thorough. He checked temperature, ears, listened to his lungs and did xrays. I was pleasantly surprised that the bill was a lot lower than expected. Will continue bringing our pets to this clinic.“

“VERY CARING PLACE. TOOK OUR MARLEY IN TODAY AND SHE WAS SEEN BY DR AARON. “First, they were able to get us in the same day. Which is very rare for a veterinarian.Dr. Sweeney and his associate were so kind and gentle with our cat during the examination. His diagnosis was bad. Dr. Sweeney gave us time to process and decide the next step without any rush. He gave our cat an injection to put him to sleep before the euthanasia injection and this made us feel more comfortable staying with him until the end. When his ashes were returned, he included a paw print out of clay and a heartfelt card expressing his condolances. Simply amazing, I wish we would of found him sooner to care for all our animals.“

“I've been with doc since the day he opened 30 some years ago. Will never go anywhere else unless he's not there & it's an emergency. Now having cats 4 & 5 I STILL go there. In fact he saved my cats life after I adopted them bc of how sick they were. He even worked with a pharmacy when I was on vacation so I had medicine for my male cat. They're the best. Doc loves what he does & the cats that come in. He cares about the people too. I really can't say enough about them. They're caring, thorough & not pushy.
