We used Caroline at Hendren House to do a total first floor renovation. Our floor plan was tricky and our need for guidance was extensive. Not only did she do a beautiful job, but she was so responsive to texts, emails, calls, and all pivots I threw her way. Renovating a first floor with two little kids is stressful, but I was grateful to have Caroline there every step of the way reassuring me that it would all be beautiful. She was right- it’s gorgeous. I refer her to everyone undergoing a renovation or even just looking for a refresh because I truly couldn’t have done it without her. As an added bonus her storefront in Havertown is full of beautiful design finds and the perfect Saturday shopping excursion for anyone looking for a few treasures or darling holiday decor!

Hendren House is a full-service interior design studio + shop based in Havertown, Pennsylvania. We work closely with clients to create beautiful and functional spaces. We are happy to work closely with trade individuals including architects, builders, carpenters, makers, and other creators to bring your project to life. We also offer custom upholstery, custom wall art, beautiful textiles, and many beautiful home décor pieces in our shop. Our specialties include architectural finish selection, attention to design details, layered designs with a love of texture, materials, finishes and pattern in mind, and creating functional, beautiful, and most importantly happy living spaces.
