Amanda Whelan is a bona fide super-agent! Not only did she find us the perfect home, she helped us negotiate a great price and provided us tons of referrals for contractors, etc to do some of improvements and remodeling before we moved it. We've had great agents in the past, but Amanda really sets a new bar.
I would like to recommend Sandy Kauffman to anyone looking to sell and/or buy a home. Sandy is a pleasure to work with - she really listens to what you have to say. She is honest in her evaluation and in suggesting improvements. She will work hard for you, and you will never doubt her integrity and credibility. She was also extremely helpful in finding out infomation, and recommending reliable professional services, restaurants, etc in the area. We were so impressed with her quick responsivenss and her follow-up. She did it well, in an understated manner, and we never felt overwhelmed or pushed into anything. Sandy was very sensitive to comfort levels, instinctively knew when to guide us, and when to hold back in a situation. Her patience with us and her tact are commendable. We all know the housing market for sellers is awful, but she did her very best in marketing our home on several sites, open houses, etc. Sandy found us some great places that could have been our new home, had we been able to sell our house. She researched the properties, spoke with the selling agents, provided background on the neighborhood, and was incredibly helpful. She sat down with us to illustrate what we could afford, and explained the tradeoffs between our old home and new home. She walked us through the bidding process, and helped us obtain pre-approval quickly. We did not sell our home because we were not willing to lower the price enough to be on par with or a bit below the current market levels for the neighborhood. We decided instead to stay put for a few more years until the economy improves, and the seller's market becomes more favorable to sellers. We also feel that we need some time to accumulate additional savings. This was our choice, and no reflection on Sandy. When we are ready to sell, and to start looking again, we will most certainly contact Sandy Kauffman!
Liz is the agent at this Prudential office that saved my life...After firing my other agent, she stepped in and made what would have been a horrible experience for me a very joyous occasion. She was able to help sell my house within 6 weeks of taking over as the agent. And in this mortgage market, she was a miracle. She was very accommodating by being available whenever I needed her. She gave me daily updates on the status of selling my home even if there were no updates. She definitely cares about her clients. Not only did she help sell my house, but she became a good friend.
