“Although I was a little skeptical in the beginning, I have to honestly say as a 35 year contractor in the electrical business Northstar roofing and siding is absolutely accompany worth doing business with.I was a little skeptical at first because their business model is one of a general contractor employing crews that work under their direction.We are extremely pleased with the end results of a fairly complex project. Our project included an entire rip off of our main roof as well as two outline structures. We also replaced all of the gutters all of the skylights and areas of the roof that were visible to the street we upgraded to New steel roofing.Overall, I estimate I spent a bit north of $70,000 with NorthstarSome months later, we had our master bathroom renovated by a different contractor and this contractor chose to vent the bathroom fan by making a hole in our newly installed roof. When we had the 4 inches of rain a few weeks ago I woke to a drip and huge puddle in my brand new new $40,000 bathroom renovation.I really didn’t know where the water was coming in. I called Jeff, the owner of Northstar roofing and regardless that he did not make the penetration nor was the leak his responsibility. He mobilized an entire team, including himself that were at my house on a Saturday at 7:30 in the morning in a rain and wind.Rather than point fingers they took ownership even when they didn’t really have to! the whole crew, including the owner was up on my roof in absolutely terrible conditions fixing the leak caused by the bathroom contractors shoddy work.“

“We had just bought our home and moved 2 years ago. The existing shingles were 17 yrs old and knew we would need them replaced in the very near future. Early this year I experienced our first leak. Called Penn Pro for an estimate as they had just replaced a roof in the neighborhood weeks prior and that homeowner was very pleased with the work done. “Larry Giusti from Figueroa Contracting is not your typical roofer. Here’s why:Prior to Larry, we received quotes from other local roofers and each time we just felt like a number - they’d pull measurements and send a quote the next day without even coming over to look at the job or introduce themselves. On a recommendation from a neighbor, we called Figueroa Contracting and Larry came out the next day to meet us and discuss the project.He went up to inspect the roof and found some damage, took pictures, and walked us through the entire insurance process - he even met our insurance companies’ roof inspector at the house so they could walk the roof together to confirm the damage.The insurance company said we could simply replace the damaged shingles. Larry then had to come back again to pull a shingle to be sent out for testing to see if it was still in production. It wasn’t, but the insurance company said we could use an alternative one.
