I got my solar panels from RENU in December last year. One of the highlights of my experience with RENU has been the convenience of their mobile app, which lets me easily track my solar energy generation and consumption. It's intuitive and gives me a clear picture of my energy use in real time. RENU's technical support team has also been helpful, answering my questions and ensuring everything functions smoothly. This level of support has given me a lot of confidence in my investment. Since installation I have saved a lot of money on electricity and expect the system will pay itself up in a few years. I expect energy prices to increase, and I feel good having my solar system in place. The quality of the panels and inverters speaks for itself, and I am impressed by the durability and efficiency of the system. Although the installation process took a bit longer than I anticipated, RENU's crew was thorough and professional, especially during the initial roof inspection. The actual installation was seamless, thanks to the expertise of the crew, who completed the work with minimal disruption. Overall, I am very satisfied with both the product quality and the service from RENU.

The solar panels themselves have been working well, and I have definitely seen a price break in my electricity bill. However, there were a few hiccups in my interactions with ReNu that caused some frustration. The issues were resolved, but a couple of issues could have been avoided with a bit more care and better explanation. During installation, there was an issue with my power being restored that required calling in a more experienced tech to resolve. I then lost my internet connection for a day and a half because the install tech rewrapped the wire too tightly, and I had to wait for my ISP to be able to send their own service tech out to diagnose and resolve that issue. As I work from home, the loss of internet was a bigger problem. Additionally, when I signed on to purchase the solar panels, I was told there was a cash incentive promotion that would be paid out upon completion of the project. The salesperson I spoke with did not explain that this included further action on my part. So I have been waiting for over 6 months to receive this incentive, not knowing that I needed to take another step on my part. After emailing/calling repeatedly over those 6 months, I finally received explanation that I needed to provide reviews/referrals in order to receive the incentive. Lesson learned here that, even if there are 15 documents to sign, make sure to read the fine print. Especially on promises of cash back.

ReNu Solar made the process of installing solar panels very easy. Their sales representative, Brittany Jacoby, was extremely knowledgeable, did not put any pressure, and was able to customize an array that would both maximize solar capture and not break the bank with panels that wouldn't get that much exposure and reduce the return on investment. The technician that they sent to do the inspection was also great. He showed up on time, was very polite, and was able to get his inspection done relatively quickly to make sure my roof was in good condition to handle the weight of the panels. The background processes of getting municipality permits and electric distribution company approval was all behind the scenes and all I had to do was sign some papers. The installation occurred over two days and, again, it was painless and required very little effort on my part. The final inspection was scheduled shortly after the install and before I knew it I was generating enough power to offset the majority of my usage. The 'Enphase' application that connects to my solar array is very insightful and gives me really good metrics on utility and production. I was never able to measure how much power I used so getting insight on that was very helpful to me further reducing my usage and reducing the amount of power I pulled from the grid. I honestly couldn't be happier with the process. ReNu knows their craft! From the sales, financing, compliance, inspections, installation, and post-install processes, they made it very easy and I recommend them to anyone looking to do solar in their home or business.
