This 500+ square foot Maple floor was factory finished and installed in our new home in 2006. With two medium size dogs in the home the floor had become severely scratched even though the factory finish was “guaranteed”. Although it took several tries, we finally found a stain color that worked for us. Derrick did an amazing job sanding off the old finish and then staining and sealing with Bona Traffic HD. We were pleasantly surprised that the solution is almost odorless. We had very minimal cleanup when Derrick was finished, and our home was virtually dust free. The job took a full week; and we did not walk on it for a few extra days to allow the Bona Traffic HD to properly cure. We are finding that the floor looks better than new, and after 3 weeks there’s not a mark or scratch on the floor.

Derek is awesome and I cannot say enough good things about him. His work is always on point, he's professional, and he sincerely takes pride in his work. He's been back multiple times to restore the original floors in our house one room at a time. He literally saved the day when we purchased our house and took up all of the carpeting only to discover that we had original wood floors throughout the house. Before we moved in, he was able to squeeze us into his schedule to work his magic. He gets booked up fast, so do not delay!

Professional, courteous, and honest, I cannot recommend Derek enough. He did an excellent job remodeling my kitchen floor, and if I ever need more hardwood flooring in the future I will absolutely be calling him. He is also extremely honest. I accidentally paid him twice due to a PayPal mix-up, and he took the initiative to return my second payment in full without my even needing to ask. Five starts without a doubt.
