Why do we have to give at least one star in the rating? These guys don't deserve any stars. Was unfortunate to have MOAD services come out when I had an American Home Shield warranty.The first time they came out to fix my heat pump and didn't do a great job, it was malfunctioning again within 48 hours. Had to call another company to come out and fix the issue the right way.The 2nd time I called was for a leaking shower faucet and toilet. Toilet had leaking rigid water supply line and could have and should have replaced with braided hose right away but I guess he didn't have one in his truck bc he ended up using duct tape to hold leaking line in place until he could come...read full review
I was forced into using them because of my home warranty. They showed up and assessed that my AC had died. What they did not tell me is that the unit was undersized and that a step up to a 2.0 ton system should be done. They ordered the new unit, but had to cancel the install because the unit was delivered to York, and he refused to drive to York to pick it up. So that delayed the install 2 weeks while a new unit was installed. Then he neglected to tell me that the hole in the ceiling for the air handler was too small for the new unit and I would have to contact a contractor to enlarge the hole as he could not do it? I left work, changed clothes, climbed into my attic and enlarged the hole. The installation was completed but the job was shoddy at best. The did not run the lines properly. The drain line is not pitched properly for drainage, and there is no drain pan under the unit, so if it does back-up the water is going to drip right onto my ceiling. They did not hook up the ducts properly, causing a loss of efficiency. He knew the unit he was installing was undersized, which means on the 90+ degree days my unit struggles to keep up. His customer service is poor, his communication is poor, and I am shocked he is still in business. Stay away from him, and if your warranty company assigns him request someone else!
Incredibly unprofessional service. No call back after the initial visit (which took a week) to see what parts were needed to repair my sewer line. I called back after a full week and was told their next opening was another week out and rudely told after 15 minutes on hold "Uh, um, let me see why you never got a call back, um, I don't know, does that date work for you or not?" Unless you like being talked down to by the serviceman and having to check up on appointment times repeatedly, skip Moad services.
