We were in need of a new air conditioning unit so we called a couple of places to come out and give us an estimate. We picked Motta we were happy of how they explained and were very friendly the owner came out to give us are estimate. They came out to install but we had a bee nest in the ground so we called an pest control who came out and removed it. The next day Motta came back to install our new air conditioning unit. I would highly recommend Motta very good company!

This company serves with honesty and integrity, something you don't see much of anymore. The tech arrived on time, was courteous, had the problem diagnosed and fixed in less than an hour, did not try to strong arm me into making an un-needed purchase, and this company now has a loyal customer for LIFE! Why use Motta? When my central air quit, I called a well-known heating and air conditioning company (I won't post their name, but they do have a snazzy radio tune). They don't accept checks - only cash or credit card and now I know why!!! The tech came out, informed me that it was in fact my furnace, but that both units were crap and needed to be replaced. He called his boss to get me a "great deal," proceeded to play "good cop/bad cop" with his boss, talked about EASY financing at $200 per month, gave me a quote of $15,000, and asked when he could begin. $15,000?! Come again? As sticker shock (and a little panic) raced through my brain, I told him that I needed to think it over. I was not interested in financing and did not have $15,000 when he said, "Do you know anyone who has $15,000 laying around to borrow?" My response was, "Ah no - do you?" He then presented me with a "quick fix with no guarantee or warranty" for $1,890. I did a little more research and found Motta Heating & Air in Ellwood City, PA. THANK GOD! The tech arrived and within 30 minutes I had central air again - and it cost me $255. He was honest about the need to consider looking at new units down the road based on the age of the units, but never did he try to strong arm me (or scare me into) making a purchase that is not required yet. I asked him if he would send me a quote on replacing the units, he said he would, and he was on his way.
