I have used Horner, Wible & Terek for several years in the past. This year I filed taxes by myself. I received one of the IRS notifications that I needed to verify my return online. In order to do so, I needed to provide my tax return from last year as well as the supporting documents. I called Horner, Wible & Terek to ask about getting copies of the tax return and documents. Lisa answered the phone and was very helpful........until I advised her that I had not done my taxes through them this year. If you could have heard the condescending tone in her voice, I am sure you would have been upset as well. I don't believe that kindness and good behavior is something that should only be administered to current clients - I believe that it should be a reflection of who you are as a person. Sadly, Lisa did not exhibit that. She did agree to make some of (not all) the information available to me but, advised that she had deadlines so it would have to wait until after April 15th. Her current workload apparently does not permit her to make a few copies, put them in an envelope and put them in the tray for outgoing mail. I am so disappointed to realize that for Horner, Wible & Terek, the only people worthy of decent customer service are the people that continue to pay for their services year after year.

Matt, Karen, Lisa, and the rest of the staff are the best. They are extremely knowledgeable, professional and responsive. In my 22 years of association with the firm, I have never ever been dissatisfied. I could not recommend any organization more highly.
