“We moved to a new area of Pittsburgh and were so sad to leave our previous groomer who worked with our anxious girl Ellie to help her get more comfortable with grooming. But the first time I brought our pitbull mix into Puffy Paws, they said they were so happy to have her breed which made me so excited as some groomers aren’t the most welcoming of dogs like her! We’ve been there twice now for monthly grooming and the second time Ellie was SO happy to get inside. She never seems anxious or scared when leaving, and for a rescue with a rough past who hates being groomed, that’s so important to us. They’re also very reasonably priced and fast, which is great for getting her groomed during the workday. So happy to have found a new groomer in our neighborhood!“

“This place is perfect because My dog loves it! So that always a great thing! Only thing is I've stopped in and sat and waited for someone to come to the receptionist desk and nobody ever came. I'm not sure why because I heard people talking and I rang the bell at the front desk. The employees seem very friendly when you talk tho. And have waited for a long time to pick my dog up. Hard to get someone to answer the phone sometimes too. But I'd still deal with that to have my dog play there! It's very clean and my dog loves it. I also love the live web cam. You can watch your dog on nice cameras all day.“

“We have two wired hair dachshunds that need to be stripped as part of their grooming routine. We take Brutus and Stella to Pittsburgh from Wheeling to Donna at the Platinum Pooch Pet Salon & Spa. The pups always look wonderful when groomed. Donna does an excellent job and the pups really like her. We appreciate everything she does for us, especially how accommodating she is to the fact that we drive over an hour and a half for our appointments. She takes to grumpy tired pups and gives us back to happy pups. They love to get groomed by Donna. Thank you for doing such a good job with a highly specialized service (Hand Stripping).“

“I boarded my dog here for over a week while we were away and they took such great care of him! They even gave me a cute little report card when they sent him home telling me how he behaved/ate. The facility is clean and well cared for, plus they are attached to their veterinary hospital so it gives me peace of mind leaving my dog there.“

Then, I moved about 45 mins away and Linda is still worth the drive because of her perfect cuts! Alfie leaves with a beautiful cut, ears cleaned, nails trimmed and Linda even gives her a little detachable colorful feather to add to her cute-ness! I wont go anywhere else! “I’m from out of town. I have a white Persian cat and I needed to find someone to groom him. My sister had recommended Joyce whom she had met. I called Joyce. She was so so nice on the phone. I was really looking forward to see her. Her history grooming. Animals was impressive.. so I dropped my cat off and I came back to pick them up within an hour. He looked beautiful, so so handsome she did such an amazing job. She didn’t need to use a cone. She believes that her in the cat bond and she hold her cat close to her as she groom them she gains there total total trust. My cat came home. He’s strutting around the house. He loves loves loves his haircut. I can’t say enough about Joyce, but thank you so much for taking care of him. “My FAVORITE cat groomer in Pittsburgh! I take my cat Poppy in for nail trims as she is quite difficult to trim on my own. Shaggy Maggie’s does the best job with her. They are quick and professional and do an excellent job. Poppy is very nervous and can get quite agitated with trimmings, but the team here handles it really well. We recently left North Shore and moved to the east side of Pittsburgh, but still make the trip back.“
