Glen Mills Veterinary Hospital is known for its friendly and welcoming staff who provide excellent care for pets. The team is attentive, knowledgeable, and takes the time to discuss treatment plans and answer questions. Many customers appreciate the caring approach, and the atmosphere of the office has been described as homey, which is a refreshing change from the sterile feel of other veterinary facilities. While some mention that the requirement for payment at the time of the visit can be challenging, it does not overshadow the overall positive experience. Dr. Herman and Dr. Parker, along with the entire staff, are recognized for their empathy and support, especially during difficult times. This hospital is highly recommended for pet care, and customers are willing to travel distances for the wonderful care their pets receive.
We have used this vet for several years now, always a great experience. Staff are great at communicating and taking care of our dog's health needs. Have used for routine care as well as sick care, including diagnosis and follow up from a dual CCL tear and surgery (referred to another quality surgeon) for our dog.

The entire team from the front desk staff to the technicians and doctors is exceptional. They are knowledgeable, kind, and go above and beyond to make both pets and owners feel comfortable and cared for.
The technicians are gentle, patient, and clearly experienced in handling animals with compassion. The doctors take the time to listen, explain every step of the process, and answer all questions thoroughly. The wait to be seen constantly runs 30 to 90 minutes after the appointment time. I came 8 minutes late because I thought I might decrease my wait and my appointment time was bumped to later . At least half the docs are very good and the vet techs are generally great. Unfortunately when my dog had an emergency, they said that they couldn’t find space in the schedule and told me to go to another place. They did however let me know that the doctor felt that my dog really needed to be seen.
ETA: one of my dogs has had a major health issue and this time they were amazing. I’m changing my rating from 2 to 4
