My family can sleep easy now. I met Scott from D&D just about a year ago when he came to my house to install a new light fixture. I was so impressed with his professionalism and how friendly he was. Fast forward to now, our house suffered severe electrical damage due to a plumbing contractor that hit our outside electrical line. The house suffered a major electrical surge that fried most of our appliances and electrical panel. I didn’t know what to do or who to call, but I remembered Scott, so I gave D&D a call to see if they could help me. When I called D & D, Gary showed much concern for our situation and came out immediately with Scott. The two of them worked quickly and thoroughly to make sure the house was not in immediate danger. They explained everything they were doing, showed me damaged electrical items they found, and gave me suggestions on how to handle the entire situation – even things that were not directly electrical related. For insurance reasons, Gary documented all damage he found and how they rectified the situation. Gary and Scott found several things that was quite concerning to me, as they basically explained to me that I was lucky the house did not catch fire. When I asked Gary if it will be safe for my family to stay in the house, he told me that he and Scott will not leave until all things electrical were checked. Gary assured me that it is his job to keep my family safe. Gary and Scott were very friendly and professional – but more importantly they showed care and concern for my families situation. In the end, Gary and Scott were at the house three different days. In between the times they were at the house, Gary would call me to see how things were working and to keep me informed of the plan to completely fix the house’s electrical problems. I know they would say they were just doing their job, but they did more than just fix electrical problems – they came alongside my family and supported us through this dangerous situation. These guys are like an extension of my family now. We now have an electrician for life. My family can sleep easy now. Thanks Gary and Scott!
