Great place to learn & enjoy riding! Karen is an A+ instructor and has become a lifelong friend as well. I’ve riden at many other stables/barns in the area & BRS is by far my favorite!

Karen has so much patience and empathy. She takes time with her students so they don’t feel rushed. As the owner of the stable, she also has control in terms of scheduling. My granddaughter used to ride at a farm that the instructor was so booked that the lessons were rushed.

Like say about 33 years ago, I took probably 1-2 years lessons with Karen, and though she’s intense, it was mostly a good experience for me. She had a nice black dog. We would take trips through backwoods of Gladwyne. Got to trot and gallop. Galloping really is a rush. Relaxing when riding on a horse through a trail even walking. A few times the horse stepped on my feet but I lived. You do learn how to take care of horse like brush it and I think wash them, and clean out dirt from feet.
