Urgent Care near Gilbertsville

“I’ve been here more than I care to remember in the past few years (between my kids and I) and I’ve always had a good experience with kind providers, reasonable/minimal wait times, and good results.“

“We overall have loved this urgent care. We have had to go a few times and the staff has always been very kind and friendly. The guy at the front desk is really nice! Wait times have always been minimal and the facility is very clean and neat.
The last time we went however, I did not have a good experience with the CRNP. I told her that I was currently breastfeeding my 15 month old son and we are also actively trying to get pregnant with a second baby. Then she prescribed me an antibiotic that is not safe for breast feeding and told me I needed to stop. When I asked about possible pregnancy (we are trying but I don’t know yet this month if I am pregnant) she said “I think it should be fine.” I did some of my own research before taking the meds just to make sure and found out that it’s highly dangerous for pregnancy and would likely result in miscarriage or sever birth defects even if taken at 1 week pregnant (so before I’d have a positive pregnancy test). I was very upset and immediately called my primary care dr (since the office was now open- I only went to urgent care the night before because it was after hrs) and they told me I should definitely not take the antibiotic she prescribed and that there are other options that would be much safer. I’m very disappointed by the negligence of that CRNP and her blatant disregard for my wishes to keep breastfeeding, but more importantly the safety of a potential second baby.
I still overall think this urgent care is a good option for after hrs, but please do your research in case you get someone like this who is negligent!“

“I recently visited the Tower Health Urgent Care Center in Limerick. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.
I was seen by Joanna Wrigley, PA-C who listened to my concerns and reviewed my symptoms. She gave me a thorough assessment. The skill and compassion I received was very much appreciated. Her mannerisms made it easy to open up about my health history. She spoke slowly when she realized I have a hearing disability. She was totally present and professional during my visit. I left feeling that I made the best decision to visit this office.
