My wife and I trailered our horses from Cleveland Ohio, stayed at the Artillery Ridge Campground and joined the Hickory Hollow Stables Gettysburg Battlefield horse tour per an advanced OK by Hickory Hickory owner. Wow!!!! what a great experience. The staff was totally professional and the horses were very well turned out. There was plenty of staff riding with the group and the ride was safe and fun. The guide was very interesting and everyone was provided with a radio earpiece to hear everything the tour guide said. Highly recommend to anyone and you don't need any riding experience. We had a great ride with Hickory Hollow Horse Farm on Friday!It is apparent that the staff love and know their horses well! The ride was a two full hours and the staff were friendly, helpful, and prepared for our ride!
This was my second time riding with Hickory Hollow Horse Farm on the Gettysburg Battlefield and again, they did not disappoint. It was a gorgeous day so that was a bonus. The staff was attentive to the horses prior to us riding and went over details on what to expect on the ride and tips for those who may not have ridden before. I definitely recommend them!
