Matt Truett of Tried & True Construction owes me $3872.95 plus a few filing fees I am entitled to reimbursement for. I hired Matt in June 2020 for some basic concrete slab pours. No fancy stamping or tinting etc. The job should have taken a week but it took months. These are just a few photos of his work. This winter was only the second winter the concrete has been through and as you can see in the first photo there is significant cracking and shifting. Contacted Matt July 22d. Came out for estimate. Spent about 30-40 minutes going over some wood rot problems. Said he would get estimate to me later that day or following day at latest. Said he could do job and shook hands on it. A week went by with no contact. Called and left message as reminder. Sent e-mail as well. Left one more message saying if he didn't want the job to please tell so I could find someone else. Didn't even show courtesy of a response. Disrespectful and deceitful in my book. If he can't even return messages I wouldn't trust him to work on my house. Thumbs down.
