We are very happy with the new roof installed on our house. During the removal of the old roof, it was discovered that a lot of the decking was in very bad condition. The crew had to replace over 21 sheets. Many of them requiring to be cut at multiple angles due to the octagon shape of the one end of the roof. Marty from Red Cedar gave us a reasonable cost for the additional materials and labor for these needed repairs. This additional work caused the crew to work a 12+ hour day. We called Red Cedar and had Marty out to do an estimate. The estimate seemed fair so we signed the contract. After signing we realized that the work was being subcontracted out. They arrived on the scheduled day and work began. The job was done in 1 day. Clean up outside was pretty good. I found a bunch of nails and other metal (staples) in the driveway by where the dumpster sat with my own magnet. The roof looks good. I had to recall Marty to fix a screen that was out of the frame on a skylight and he came out the next day to take care of it. All in all the work is good. It's been about 2 months and there's no sign of leaks.
Ryan was professional and explained everything to us in detail and answered all of our questions. On the day the roof was installed the crew showed up and got right to work. They covered all our landscaping and after cleaned up everything as if they were not even there. We are very happy with the work!
