Butler's Golf Course in Elizabeth, PA, offers two well-regarded golf courses in the Pittsburgh area. The facility also boasts The Loft, featuring three indoor golf simulators with multi-sport software, a bar, and an event space. The Loft is open daily from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. Some golfers praise the course conditions, noting excellent fairways and greens, particularly on the Lakeside course, which provided a wonderful experience with great holes and a fun round. Others mention a busy course, especially on the weekend between 9:30 am and 3 pm, leading to a 5.5-hour round with no range to move along pace of play. The course is average at best in some areas, a bit burnt out, and bunkers need a bit more sand, but it is in good condition overall with good electric carts and an easy layout. The clubhouse is nice, and there's a decent adjacent grill/bar.
Absolutely Amazing courses but what makes this place great is the staff, from the girls behind the counter, grounds crew and starters and marshals the people make this course what it is. Some of the friendliest most accommodating people I’ve ever encountered and definitely at a golf course. My brother and I drove from Ohio a day early to the US open to play both courses but were way earlier than expected not only did they get us off on the woodside early so we weren’t waiting a few hours they found a break in the tee sheet to let us off on the lakeside early too! On top of that every interaction we had with staff was always met with a smile I recommend this course to anyone very fun layout great condition challenging and fair holes I can’t say enough good about this place!
The staff at Butler’s Golf Course was absolutely wonderful for our 2nd annual Provins-Hummel Memorial Outing two weeks ago. From the GM and starters to the catering team and sales director, everyone was extremely accommodating, helpful, and easy to work with - THE ENTIRE TEAM! They went above and beyond in making sure our event went smoothly, just like they did for our first outing. We also appreciated their help in advertising on their social media. Everything was ready when we arrived. The food was also fantastic! We’re already looking forward to hosting our event there again in 2026! Thank you, Butler’s!
Yesterday on July 9th we held a Retirement Party for 120 guests at the Rock Run Inn in Elizabeth, Pa. to honor our Priest Father Bruce Sleczkowski for 51 years in the priesthood. Early planning with HelenBergman was a joy!! She was very helpful, eager to please and accommodate us in any way possible. The food was outstanding, hot and delicious!! The buffet was refilled quickly and efficiently. The wait staff on a scale of 1-10 deserved a 100 +. From the moment we arrived they were so eager to assist us in placing the programs at the tables, setting up our floral arrangements and getting whatever we needed! To Byron, Dalaney, Angie, Jake and Tyler ….you were so professional yet down to earth! Kudos to each and everyone listed above for a job well done!! If you are looking for a place to have an event consider the Rock Run Inn. You won’t regret it!!!
