I live in the area and decided to go here after reading reviews on google. I am so happy I did. I have been wearing glasses for about 4 years now, so I am still fairly new to the buying experience. The first time I purchased glasses was in person elsewhere and I was so overwhelmed by all of the options. I took a long time trying things on and ended up with subpar frames. The second time I purchased glasses online. The frames were better, but didn't fit well because they weren't adjusted the way they need to be. I received my new billiard glasses yesterday and went straight to the grand opening of a new room in Charleston. I thought that I would have to get accustomed to using the new glasses but I had no trouble getting used to them. They work great! Great experience ordering them and they arrived right when promised. Can't recommend the Currans and their billiard glasses enough.
Short story: I cannot overstate how positive my family's experience with this shop has been. The service is unbeatable, their communication is excellent, and they're truly experts in their field.
Long story: My son had dual eye surgeries and wound up with a REALLY strong prescription. Online glasses retailers simply couldn't handle it, but thankfully our surgeon referred us to William Curran's shop. I first spoke with Mike, who did a wonderful job of prepping me for their process, turnaround times, pricing, and generally what to expect, and he did so without ever coming off like a salesman.
