Surprised me with unreasonable charges. I had my 11 year old son's 2 teeth extracted at this place and I paid $225 as copay and they surprised me with $482.30 bill for 20 minutes teeth extraction. Insurance reviewed and paid them at market rate of $140/teeth and $32 exam fee. Before surgery PA Oral & Maxillofacial Surg. made me sign paper work where it says their rate is $350/tooth and exam fee is $95. After 3 weeks I got surprise bill of $482.30 and when I talked with PA Oral & Maxillofacial Surg. they told me that I have to pay this amount because this is their rate, insurance didn't cover this amount and you have signed financial paper work. Overall, if you have free time, money and energy then use this place.

Multiple problems with this place. First, they double charged me. I fully paid my balance on 10/18/19, have a confirmation from the insurance carrier that the entire amount was debited directly to PA Oral's account, yet on 12/2/19 I am being billed again for half of the balance. Second, you have to wait at least 6 weeks for an initial appointment. For someone in a lot of pain this is an unreasonable time to wait for an initial consult during which they don't actually provide any treatment. If they refer you to another doctor in their practice, it will be another 6 week wait. During my appointment, the doctor was dismissive of my issue and acted like I was making it up. He insisted that the bump on my jaw is normal anatomy (reference image with pointed growth on right side compared to left). He did not have these visual x-rays however the point can easily be felt on the jawline. I asked whether the jawline could be shaved down and the answer was inadequate. He explained that I wouldn't want to get surgery in that area because I would have a scar and it was risky, without any further explanation as to what those risks are. I would rather have a scar than pain! Luckily, I have been to two other practices after this appointment who were able to provide much more satisfactory direction on my treatment options. Lastly, the office changed my appointment time without checking with me that the new time was ok for my schedule (I was able to tell by their automated text system).

Rely on them through health access pay my half of 1,200..00 then try to add another 300.00 after surgery Then when I call to explain that wasn’t the deal. All I got in response was a rude comment from the billing dept that I owe what I owe and sorry we will send it to collections. Just plain rude woman to deal with
