I've been training at Paramount since around Septmeber 2022. I have to admit I was nervous about even walking in the door at first. I had never trained any type of martial arts in my life and I was 45 years old. I started out with Muay Thai two days per week.To be honest, I didn't even know what Muay Thai was when I started. I can't say enough positive things about Paramount Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The coaches, staff and fellow students are all top grade. I walked into the gym 1 year ago knowing nothing about Jiu Jitsu, I was just looking for a change in my routine.From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted by not only the friendly staff, but the friendly coaches and students too. Coach Brad has created an environment that makes you feel like you're at home and everyone there is your family.There's classes and opportunities for all ages and skill levels. Having a background in collegiate and semi-pro sports I had a desire to do something physically demanding and Paramount BJJ has given me the perfect outlet. The instructors there are absolutely amazing. No matter what your interests are whether your interests are self defense, weight loss, kids activities, boxing, Muay Thai or competition you’ll find what you’re looking for there. Everyone is SUPER friendly and it’s a great environment for learning. If you do have an interest in competing even better because the black belts and competitors there are extremely high level.
