“Janine is brilliant. The depth of her knowledge is almost unimaginable but her cueing is so right on and approachable. She has very well honed insight to even subtle changes in your movement you wouldn't even think are visible. Highly recommend working with her for exercise/stretching and massage, whether you are an athlete, out patient status (she is just as helpful as most PTs if not more IMO), have any condition that affects your movement, or if you just want to learn more about pilates and get strong. Her guidance has been indispensable for me in the context of a pretty major physical challenge and in general. Lucky she’s in the area. GO SEE JANINE“
“Individual attention, knowledgeable teachers, and terrific instruction. Best yoga in the Harrisburg area!“
“I always feels warm and welcome at Om My Yoga. It’s not just some sterile gym type atmosphere. The mood here is warm and hOMey. Plus all the teachers here are experts at their practice. Grateful this studio is a part of our community. Seriously, if you’re serious about yoga, and follow the 8 limbed path, this is the place for you. ?“
“After years and dozens of studios this one will always be my favorite and have a special place in my heart. The owner Laura and her hubby are so nice and caring. The studio is heated pretty evenly compared to others. And not to mention bikram yoga is just the best for my back pain. I don’t even live here anymore. But when I’m in town I make it a point to come support my favorite studio :).“
“Restoritive Yoga has changed my life. I have been practicing with Jen and her Friday evening class for 7 weeks now. I decided to take the class to help clear my mind from work stress and to hopefully gain some flexibility back.I am approaching 40 yrs old and feel like a prisoner in my body. Over the last 17 years my profession has left me with th no curve in my lower back, body pain and migraines. I make wedding dresses for a living and after sitting at a sewing machine for hours, I have to remind myself to get up and stretch. It got to the point where sleeping was painful. I felt like my ribs were crushing. My first class was emotional because I thought this class was to be easy and my body was not allowing itself to open. I needed alot of props and felt embarrassed. Jen offered kidness and encouragement. Each class I gained a little more confidence and began practicing at home. After our class this evening I was overjoyed!! I could sit cross legged comfortably again. Something that I haven't done in years. It was the first class where I was able to relax and fee the delicious stretch without pain.Jen makes you feel at ease and allows you to move freely through poses without judgement.I never wanted to be on pain medication and have found what heals the body naturally. I have less migraines and notice my perspective on life has chajudgment.Thank You Jen for helping me realize that Yoga heals the mind, body and soul. Namaste ?“
