“I originally left a very negative review, however since speaking to Valerie, I have changed my mind about this company- or at least about the customer service aspect of this company. Yesterday I received a "5 Day Notice" in regards to unpaid school taxes for an address I have not lived at for over five years. I emailed GH Harris yesterday afternoon and received a response from Valerie this morning. Valerie was extremely pleasant, had great communication, & was very helpful in sorting out my issue. I give Valerie five stars. I am, however, deducting a star because the letter I received was unnecessarily harsh & threatening. The letter stated that if payment was not received in five days, a public sale of my personal goods and chattels would be held to recover the amount of my delinquent taxes, plus all applicable penalties and costs. Big yikes. I understand that this company's sole purpose is obtaining unpaid taxes, however I personally feel like there is a better way to do business than that. It's 2023, we are in a silent depression. Inflation is the highest it's ever been, and people are struggling. Being kind goes a long way.“
