“This was one of the cleanest most organized gym I have been to. Dan trained me one on one and I was so impressed by the knowledge he had. He used simple movements to train me but they seemed to be working every fiber in my muscles. I also received an hour long massage by Igor, he was incredible! He knew exactly which muscles were tight and was able to release a lot of tension! This place is a hidden gem in Pittsburg! The staff are very experienced and knowledgeable!“

I met with Brooks to talk over some very specific goals I have and he told me that they are not the best place to assist me with my goals and referred me to someone else. If my fitness goals change and I want to do something more in line with what type of training they specialize in, I will not hesitate to go back because that kind of honesty and frankness is not always commonplace in the business world. He could've promised me the world and taken my money but he and his gym clearly prioritize honesty and customer satisfaction which I think is great.“

“Lisa and Emelia at Touchstone Pilates have given me the ability to participate in my life again. Due to spinal issues that limited my mobility and caused debilitating pain, I spent the better part of two years in physical therapy but still had many limitations. I consulted with two spinal surgeons who both recommended spinal fusion surgery. A strong core helps with the recovery process after spinal surgery, so I called Lisa at Touchstone Pilates. Lisa instructed me over a decade ago and I knew she was extremely knowledgeable, focused and detail oriented as a Pilates instructor. The amount of knowledge she has about classical pilates and how it relates to the body never ceases to amaze me. After a few months working with Lisa, I felt so much better so I added an additional class with Emelia. She is an asset to Touchstone Pilates and I continue to benefit from her instruction. Both Lisa and Emelia tailor the session based on the clients' needs and abilities. They are professional and friendly and have a genuine interest in their clients' progress. At my last consultation with my neurosurgeon, he advised me not to schedule the spinal surgery because my mobility has increased significantly and my pain has decreased significantly. “No gym-timidation here! There are few places in the area where my 85 year-old father, big sister, and myself can work out and be positively pushed to our fitness limits. The trainers are so good at putting together workouts that increase performance levels, while keeping us safe from injury. They don't tell you what to do and walk away. They teach you the correct way, allowing you to push yourself physically and become stronger--It's actually really rewarding. They have group fitness classes too. A good mix of cardio and weight training. The spin bikes are awesome! Just like real bikes that move with you. It's definitely a better workout...and a calorie burner! I highly recommend this gym over any in the area. No workout is the same. It's a great community of really great people!“
“Dr. Brad Kleuber is absolutely amazing. I was referred to him in 2015 from my boss. When you enter his office it always smells so good. He has many photos of sports athletes on his wall. He has helped out a lot of athletes. If you're ever watching the Steelers game and think you saw him on the sidelines, you're correct. He works for the Steelers medical staff. His technique is good. He listens to your issues, types it into the computer, lays you on his table, starts with exercises that he assists with, then moves on to stretching your back if needed. Then he will put you in a pretzel and crack you on both sides. Then finishing exercises he will assist with standing up. He will provide homework for you to do. One time I showed up on the wrong day. His partner gave me a $20 gift card to Einstein's across the street. Very nice place. Highly recommend him.“
“I was an out of towner trying to keep to my workout routine when I was home visiting. I was able to check out The Studio for 1 class. The 7 AM Kettle Ball/Pilates Class. Pros and Cons of the studio: Pros: -Very nice clean studio, fully equipped, new equipment (I didn't take a reformer class, so review is more for the TRX, weights, mats, etc). -Mary's Class was awesome, she totally kicked my butt the entire class. Felt stronger after her class Cons: -Website has very little information about attire for classes. I practice classic pilates twice a week in Dallas and not once have ever had to bring tennis shoes for a class. You need tennis shoes for the Kettle Ball/Pilates Class! Updates need to made to the schedule webpage that simply say "Tennis Shoes Required for this class." -Studio was really hot-the teacher was trying to lower the temp, but nonetheless I was still borderline about to pass out for the last 30 minutes of class. If this is your first time visit studio is on the second floor, some locals were able to point me in the right direction! Next time I am home I will take another class, but be more careful and call ahead about taking a traditional Pilates mat class instead.“
“The staff are warm, inviting, and helpful. It’s clean and the atmosphere is very chill. I wish it was open a little later on the weekends but it’s been a great experience considering I’m a 42 year old with social anxiety going to my very first gym lol. My daughter ( also typically pretty anxious) loves coming with so much she plans on getting her own membership now.“
