We're really glad that we were connected to the team at Sol Heating and Cooling. When we purchased our home, we called the number on our HVAC system and the technician from another company immediately told us that we were leaking carbon monoxide and needed a new system. I called Dave for a second opinion, and he spent over an hour explaining how my system works, that the other company had flat out lied to me, that there was no carbon monoxide leak, and further explained what the real issues with our system were.It's very important to have contractors that you trust, and we have that with Sol. I recently moved into the area and had no intention of hiring an HVAC company so fast since the heat was working fine. But someone suggested that since I have no idea how to maintain any of the house equipment, I should think about it. So, I asked for recommendations and Sol Heating & Cooling was brought up by a few people. I called 2 companies just to get a quote. Sol called me back within a few hours. I spoke with Dave on the phone. Just speaking with him, I knew I wanted to work with him, and I didn't wait for the other company to call me back. I signed up for twice a year maintenance and scheduled my first appointment. By the way, the other company called me back TWO DAYS later.Dave arrived on time and happily answered the dozen questions I asked. He serviced everything in my attic room...I think it was a hot water heater, boiler (?) and humidifier. He also looked at my gas fireplace to make sure it was running properly. I talked to Dave about getting a water softener installed but I need to wait until next year. However, he did install a new smart thermostat. A week later I texted him with a small thermostat issue and said I didn't want him to come out to service it...I just wanted him to tell me if I could fix it. He got right back to me, sent me simple instructions and a few minutes later the problem was solved.Their company philosophy is to keep everything maintained properly so their service calls are few. I am THRILLED with their service and know that if anything breaks down in the freeze of winter or the heat of summer, I will be taken care of, and the issue will be resolved quickly. I am happy I hired them and what I pay each month is well worth my peace of mind.

Dave from Sol gave us a great proposal for our new heat pump system, and he and his crew did a superb job with the installation, keeping us informed along every step of the way. At all times they were courteous and considerate of our time, space, and all special considerations due to COVID. I will give my strongest recommendation to friends or family who need any HVAC services in the future.Services: Installation
