I am so glad my church recommended me to Calvery cemetery when my mother was actively dying. They helped me by providing me with a peaceful resting place for my mother, when she passed away.
My sister and I had the pleasure of attending the Augustinian Memorial Dedication at Calvary Cemetery yesterday (6/17/24). Many thanks to all those involved in bringing this beautiful tribute to the Augustinians buried there to fruition. In particular, Thank you to Renee Cirino for her dedication to this project and for her warm welcome to us family members!
As an artist I was a little concerned /curious about how the monument would look, but it is appropriately elegant and beautiful. Renee was gracious and welcoming to everyone. Clearly there was planning on the part of several folks both for the memorial monument and the dedication ceremony. All of it was reverent, joyful and comforting. Kudos to Renee and all involved. Thank you.
