“Life saver is the first word I can think of when I think of Lotus Restore & Remodel. No one ever thinks about the “what if” my house catches on fire then what? On October 31, 2020 I had no choice but to think about it. I had an electrical fire in my basement and came to realize that my house was never going to be the same. I was referred to Lotus Restore & Remodel from a “fireman” the day of my fire and once I met Tim and his wife Christa there was no looking back. Not only did they make me feel comfortable in this unsettling time in my life but I knew I was in good hands. Tim has done this since he was a kid and you can tell. He tells it like it is and yet will go over and above to do anything to help you get back into your house as soon as possible. Being a single mom and not knowing the ins and outs of rebuilding a house from scratch Tim or Christa would answer any questions I had. Christa listened to my description of my “likes” and went from there giving me choices from flooring to cabinets to lights and everything in between. Now my house went down to the studs and everything had to be rebuilt and replaced. Tim and his crew were always professional and informative if I asked any questions and was always good for a laugh when I needed it. It took a year and 4 months but I am back into my “new” house. The extra special touches that Tim and Christa came up with and added I will never forget. They made it feel like “home” again but all new and even better than it was. “We have been chasing a leak for years coming from our chimmney and flashing. Extensive chimmney work and the entire roof replaced, and still a leak. The brick and mortar behind the flashing was deteriorated and the flashing job from the roofers was questionable as we continued to experience water intrusion at that area, even after multiple return trips from the roofers trying to correct the issue. I wanted the brickwork repaired and all new flashing installed the correct way along with a new crown with a drip edge. Finding someone who was willing to remove shingles and all flashing and to repair the masonry underneath was proving difficult as most roofers don't do masonry work and most masons don't do roof work. Trying to coordinate the work between multiple contractors was something I was trying to avoid. Matt Burns was the only one I found who was willing to take on the job in its entirety. For the first time in years we have no signs of a leak. More than happy with the quality of his work and the fair price. Would highly recommend and would use him again for any future masonry projects.“
